Smith Knudsen Advokatfirma is a modern law firm located in North-west Jutland. The firm has a staff of about 20, of whom 9 are lawyers one holding an english practice certificate and being a member of The Law Society. Our two offices are located in the neighbouring towns Struer and Holstebro. Our main field is commercial law, but we also deal with all other types of legal issues. Most of our clients are of course based in the North-west Jutland area, but we also have clients in other parts of the country as well as abroad, whether they be business clients, public agencies or individual private clients.
We are proud of the qualities and characteristics that are such well-known features of the North-western Jutlanders. Features such as being visionary and having respect for the results created by far-sighted efforts, hard work and risk management, and last but not least good old-fashioned business acumen. In North-western Jutland a special entrepreneurial spirit reigns, and we are a natural part of it. And this has also been the background for the growth of our company. Presently the area is witnessing a large growth in the IT sector.
As a law firm we constantly endeavour to be at the leading edge of developments by using state-of-the-art technology, by continuous training of lawyers and other staff members, and by creating an inspiring work environment. Our offices are characterised by a natural busyness with an informal tone, and a high commitment level. To ensure a high quality of our assistance we are aware that a certain level of specialisation is called for, and we organise in teams to achieve the best results. If it is required by the nature of the case or the time limits, we will be two or more lawyers working together on the case. But at the same time we deliberately hold on to good, old-fashioned lawyers´ virtues such as independence and uncompromising respect for the interests of our clients within the limits of the law and the business ethics of the sector.
We give high priority to visibility, openness, and personal relations with our clients. Cases are not being sent around between different departments, but are being dealt with by the contact lawyer, if necessary in cooperation with the firm´s specialist in the field. We devote considerable efforts to continuing the expansion of our firm through natural growth.
